Phase 3: Design Development

In this phase we will further develop the reflection of our client’s ideas, lifestyle and values. After we have the plans and elevations close to final development, we will move to Cadd drafting. The plans, elevations, foundation plan and roof plan will be drafted. We will bring all engineers in during this phase and will also work closely with the landscape architect. We will begin blocking out wall sections and designing the structure. (The Schematic Design of the interiors will begin during the Design Development.) We will also start blocking out the interior elevations and developing the vocabulary of interior millwork profiles. At the completion of the Design Development phase, the final drawings are approximately 50% complete.
