The mission of our firm is to design beautiful and comfortable environments which reflect the values, character, ideals and tastes of our clients.  We establish this goal in the beginning stages of the design process by building a relationship with our client and determining the style and vocabulary which will be carried throughout the design.  Our belief in the beauty of unity, is portrayed through maintaining this consistency in the design, as each “part” of the home comes together and reflects the "greater whole" Once this is accomplished, the creation of sense of place is achieved and value is added to the home. As our name reflects, A Classical Studio specializes in classical or traditionally designed homes.  We believe that traditional western architecture traces its roots back to ancient classical design.  Whether the style is Italian Villa, Georgian, Federal or French Norman, Craftsman, Mediterranean or even Vernacular, each finds its roots either through adaptation or in reaction to Classical Architecture.

Through our approach to design, each project is unique.  The issues of style, method of construction, location, budget and any other obstacle become part of that project’s distinctive vocabulary.  Once that vocabulary is established, it is used to reflect the ideals and lifestyle of our clients.
